Medtronic Resolute Onyx stent approved in USA. But we (Europeans) have been using it for a few years already!

Drug eluding stents (DES) are used in most patients having coronary angioplasty (PCI). I use mainly the Abbott Xience stent and the Resolute Onyx. Both are good with a mass of safety data behind them. I don’t use the BVS bioabsorbable stents. They are harder to deploy, and the clinical data suggests they are NOT as safe.
I am glad my American Colleagues will now have the same choices available that I have had for years!
