EuroPCR is one of the largest Cardiology Conferences in the world. In May this year, it was held in the Palais des congrès de Paris in France.
Supported by Laderal and Mentice, and part of the #NextGen and #NAPP sessions, Dr Malik was involved in a “live” simulation training session. Dr Martin Oberhoff from Germany was the “operator” and the team played the roles of paramedic, cath lab staff and anaesthetic support.
Watched by a live audience, 8 deliberate errors were put in the scenario and the audience encouraged by the faculty to comment on them. It was an entertaining and highly educational session.
Dr Malik runs the iCAST training program in London, delivering high-fidelity simulation to junior cardiologists.
