Dr Boon Lim was invited to deliver a lecture on best management of Syncope and Palpitations for over 400 attendees, mainly consultant physicians and medical registrars, in Birmingham on 20 March 2018. In this lecture, Dr Lim discussed the latest European Society Guidines on Diagnosis and Treatment of Syncope (published in March 2018), and the interactive talk involved case based discussion and audience participation.
The talk covered best management of arrhythmias, including atrial fibrillation (AF), atrial flutter, SVTs (including AV nodal re-entrant tachycardia – AVNRT, and AV re-entrant tachycardia (AVRT or Wolff-Parkinson-White Syndrome)), and Dr Lim addressed several questions at the end of the lecture.
