Encouraging stair use with signs fails in Norway

Dr Malik: a study from Norway shows you can’t patronise people. We have all seen signs encouraging us to use the stairs. Does it work? This study says it REDUCES stair use if you put “footstep” stickers, smiley faces and “well done” signs up.

Back to the drawing board. What does help is the stairs getting natural light, and the lifts being further away. Common sense!
