UPDATE: Transcatheter aortic valve intervention (TAVI)

Transcatheter aortic valve intervention (TAVI) is an amazing advance in the treatment of patients with severe aortic valve stenosis who are at high risk for conventional surgery. The National Institute for Health and Clinical excellence (NICE) have published an excellent summary of the evidence for this new treatment. We at London Cardiovascular Clinic are able to offer you assessment for this therapy. We comply with all the regulations stated in the NICE document. TAVI is not a replacement for Aortic Valve Surgery, but it is a life- saving treatment for some patients. Read more here
