Long term monitoring of heart rhythm disorders using AliveCor for Iphone or Andriod devices
LCC has adopted the latest FDA-approved technology, the AliveCor, a simple device that can be used in conjunction with latest smartphones, including the Iphone and many other Android phones. This has the potential to finally detect heart rhythm abnormalities which only occur infrequently, for example once every 2 to 4 weeks, and in 10 seconds, the system is able to record an ECG. The team at LCC in Harley Street will be able to view the downloaded transmissions of data to help make a clear diagnosis.
