Complex PFO closure with Dr Iqbal Malik

Dr Malik does a live PFO closure. A PFO or patent Foramen Ovale, is a flap in the heart that is needed in the womb, but serves no purpose in the adult. It can in rare cases be associated with stroke. Closing the PFO with an umbrella device leads to a much reduced chance of recurrent stroke.
