Dr Malik was on LBC Radio with Nick Ferrari on 12th August 2014. Work at Imperial College has suggested gene therapy may help heart failure patients. There have been many false starts in this exciting fields. Genes can be used to:

  1. Grow new blood vessels
  2. Make heart muscle work better
  3. Grow new heart muscle
